Two Filipinos competing in 'So You Think You Can Dance'

Two Filipinos made it to the Top 20 in "So You Think You Can Dance? Season 8", an American dance competition and TV reality show. They are Marko Germar and Tadd Gadduang.

Tadd Gadduang

Tadd Gadduang, is a 25-year old dancer from Salt Lake City, Utah. He began to dance at age 15 as a hobby, but eventually realized his passion for it after graduating from high school. Since he had no formal dance training like Marko, Tadd considers what he does "urban dancing." He is currently a second-year college student taking up Psychology. He learned Filipino Martial Art of Kali at the age of 6.

Marko Gemar

Meanwhile, Marko Gemar, 22 years old, works as a dancer in Disneyland US and is an expert on Jazz. He is fondly called by his family "Kimboy" - which obviously is a very Filipino trait (lol). He trained since he was 10 at a dance studio where he learned Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip-Hop, Ballroom and Gymnastics. Prior to the training, Marko already learned street Hip-Hop at the age of 7.

I know I'm not completely over him. He still crosses my mind several times a day, but with each one of those things, a feeling of contempt also passes my heart. Maybe if this happens enough, my heart will become completely hardened to him, and I'll get to the point where he doesn't affect me anymore

Andi gives clue on identity of baby's daddy

Jake Ejercito, son of former president Joseph Estrada and Laarni Enriquez, can now heave a sigh of relief. Andi Eigenmann dropped his name as the father of her unborn child.

Andi said in her Twitter account last Thursday, June 30: "For your better understanding, I've only had one boyfriend before Jake whom I've only been seeing for the past two months. Therefore, Jake cannot be the said ex-boyfriend whom everyone has been talking about."

If Jake isn't the father, who is?
Aside from Jake there is only one other prominent person who had been linked to Andi. He is Albie Casiño, one of the lead “Mara Clara” cast members who recently won the Yahoo! OMG! Award for "Awesome Young Actor."

And Albie himself confirmed in a press conference launching the second season of “Mara Clara” earlier this year that he had a romantic relationship with Andi, whom he also called his best friend; whom he learned to love because she was his childhood friend who he gets to talk with “the whole day without realizing (it).” He openly divulged details of his relationship with Andi in Formspring, a social networking site that Albie uses to answer questions from followers -- from haters who think he’s a poser to avid fans who admire him for being truthful and unfeigned in his responses. His Formspring account, albiewhoshedid, which his family and even Andi verified as truthfully his, is now discontinued.

However, a follower of Albie on Formspring saved a copy of his stream of posts before he removed his account. The copy, in PDF format, was sent to Yahoo! Philippines OMG!

In one question, “If you know that this is your last day in world who is the person you want to hug?”

Albie answered, “Andi.”

Asked if he "really loved" Andi, he answered: "I did."

And when someone said that Andi was “soooooooo f**@#! hot…i'm gonna kiss her all over,” Albie answered: “Good luck with that. And a tip for you, wag mong babastusin si Andi sakin. It won't turn out good for you bro.”

Traumatic
But something happened. From posts of endearment, they turned sour. After saying that they were an item for exactly “one year and 7 months,” Albie just continued to bash Andi.

This was due to the actual end of their on-and-off relationship last May. Albie further said in response to a question about how his relationship with Andi ended:

"I treated her so badly towards the end of our relationship. I just wanted her to leave me. All she ever did was love me and I took it for granted. I never really cared abt it. Ask any of the people who know us, everyone would agree to this."

In response to tweets that he had slapped Andi after an argument, the young actor vehemently denied it. In his succeeding Formspring post last May, he even claimed that Andi had relationships with other men.

“I never hit her. Maybe one of her many boys did. Andi's a cheater kasi she has maybe 10 guys. Ao yeah nope not me,” he said in a post last May.

Questions about Jake surfaced in his account, wherein he would answer, “I don’t give a s--- about him.”

Some of his Formspring followers also asked his qualities as a boyfriend. He gamely answered, “I am the most jealous boyfriend you will ever have. Hahaha.”

Andi's response

In response to Albie’s comments that she is a “cheater,” Andi tweeted also in May:

"The issue is not what he's done but how he's trying to ruin my life and let him be wo (without) defending myself. All I ever did for 2yrs was stay by him, make sure he's happy and he doesn't get hurt. Cus (Because) I care. A lot. And why do I get this in return? No one knows.

“I don't do this out of pity. Heck I even told myself not to stoop down to his level cus (because) there's no need. At least I know the truth. But I think it has gone overboard. This guy knows me and knows the truth, yet has the guts to say such lies to save himself from NO danger. No danger at all.

“No one could ever imagine how badly I've been hurt but did anyone hear anything from me? No. Cus (Because) I care for him and I love him and amidst what he's done, I'd always wish the best for him. Another question is, so why he just stop and let me be?

To the readers, he made himself hate me and did everything he can for me to stay out of his life when all I ever did was love him as much as I could."

Still no confirmation or denial from Albie

On June 29, Albie's mother, Anna Kathrina Casiño, neither confirmed or denied if her son is indeed the father of Andie's unborn child.

"No ones denying nor confirming. Just saying he is not her 1st bf & I didnt hear ms jaclyn say Albie did u?,” she tweeted.

Jaclyn confirmed on Wednesday, June 28, in an interview with “TV Patrol” that Andi is pregnant. She would not name the father but hinted that he is Andi’s “first boyfriend.”
